You will have already created:
- keyframed animations
- shape tween animations
- motion tween animations
- text effects
- transformed shapes and objects
- used layers
- published flash content
- saved images from websites
- used print screen to capture what's on screen (including a still from a video or flash animation)
- obtained a web hosting account (digiweb student offer)
Now I want you to demonstrate what you have learned by creating an animated online advert using a web standard graphic advert size (see Google AdSense Ad Formats).
You should introduce words onto the advert as required (remember less is more!)
For the purposes of this exercise, you can use imagery from anywhere - includiing saving images from existing web sites.
Think about what you want to advertise.
Get the branding right
Get the message right
Plan out the advert (storyboard)
Then implement it in Flash
Publish it to your website.
Please complete this before your next practical class after the study week.
At that time, I will show you how to add a button (invisible) to make the ad link to a website.
I will also show you how to "mask" your advert.
